Children ages (5-8 yrs old) can write (with help of parents) or dictate short stories (up to 300 words) or drawings about magical adventures, where Inherited Metabolic Disorder-friendly special powers play a central role allowing for illustrations to be submitted instead of or alongside the stories.
These stories or drawings/pictures can be uploaded as a photo or scanned document, word document, PDF or video.

Category 2- ‘Tales’
Participants (9-12 year olds) write fictional stories (up to 500 words) set in an Inherited Metabolic Disorder-friendly world.
Themes could include friendship or overcoming challenges.

Category 3- ‘Chronicles’
Teens (13-16 years old) create longer narratives (up to 800 words) that explore Inherited Metabolic Disorder-related themes.
Topics might include acceptance, resilience, or advocating for rare disease awareness.
These stories or drawings/pictures can be uploaded as a photo or scanned document, word document, PDF or video.
Prize: Laptop
Category 4- ‘Journeys’
Young adults/Adults (16 years+) submit stories (up to 1000 words) that explore their personal Inherited Metabolic Disorder experiences.
Themes can be personal growth, community support, or life-changing moments.
These stories or drawings/pictures can be uploaded as a photo or scanned document, word document, PDF or video.
