DESCRIPTION¹

MSUD EASY Tablets are a leucine, isoleucine and valine free protein substitute tablet, containing essential and non essential amino acids.¹

INDICATIONS¹:  MSUD EASY Tablets are suitable to be used in the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) in patients aged 3 years and above under strict medical supervision.

DOSAGE¹

Dosage to be determined by the clinician or dietician and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.

11 tablets = 10g of protein.

ADMINISTRATION¹

MSUD EASY Tablets are coated (slow release) tablets which are to be swallowed whole with liquid.

STORAGE¹

Store in a cool, dry place.

6 bottles containing 77 tablets each

SHELF LIFE¹

18 months. Once opened, the product should be consumed within one month.

IMPORTANT NOTICE¹

Must only be given to patients with proven MSUD under strict medical supervision. Suitable from 3 years of age. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. Diet must be supplemented with natural protein, water and other nutrients in prescribed quantities to supply leucine, isoleucine and valine, fluid and general nutritional requirements. For enteral use only.
